INFOKU, BLORA –The General Chairperson of the Central Indonesian People's Organization (ORI), Andi Gani Nena Weya, inaugurated the management of the Central Java Province ORI DPD in an event held in Semarang, Saturday (19/9/2026).
In the inauguration, Sri Endahwati, a woman from Blora who also served as the General Chairperson of HIPMI Blora, was entrusted to become the first chairperson of ORI Central Java Province.
Meanwhile, Central Java is also projected to become one of the pilot areas for ORI development in Indonesia.

The Central Java ORI management is filled by various elements of society, including young entrepreneurs, academics, religious figures, youth figures, and various other elements of society, including from various political parties.
On this occasion, Andi Gani Nena Weya said that ORI is a nationalist-based organization that accommodates various elements of society.
"ORI accommodates many elements of society, ranging from religious leaders, entrepreneurs, youth leaders, education figures, and various other community elements," said Andi Gani, who is also an Advisor to the Chief of Police.
He stated that ORI is currently continuing its organizational consolidation. ORI has established management teams in 18 provinces across Indonesia and aims to have them in all 38 provinces by March 2027.
In its development, ORI has a number of program focuses that will be implemented down to the regional level.
First, organizational consolidation down to the provincial and regional levels.
Second, advocacy for community social security, especially assisting the community in managing and accessing BPJS Health and BPJS Employment.
Third, ORI plans to establish a People's Legal Entity to provide assistance and advocacy to the community.
In addition, ORI also plans to establish an ORI Entrepreneurship Agency (Bawira ORI) at the central level which will later be developed to the regions.
Social movements are also part of ORI's activities, including providing social assistance to communities in need.
Attended by a Number of Officials
The inauguration of the DPD ORI of Central Java Province in Semarang was also attended by a number of officials and regional figures, including the Director of Intelligence and Security of the Central Java Regional Police, Senior Commissioner of Police Syahbuddin, the Commander of the Semarang Military District, Colonel Inf Proyo Habdoyo, the Deputy Mayor of Semarang, Iswar Aminuddin, officials from the Central Java Kesbangpol, and a number of officials at the provincial and Semarang City levels.

In this series of activities, assistance was also provided to residents in need and orphans in the city of Semarang.
With the inauguration of Sri Endahwati, affectionately known as Mbak Endah, as the first chair of the Central Java Regional Representative Council (DPD) of the Indonesian Religious Association (ORI), the Central Java leadership is expected to become an example of organizational development capable of bringing together various elements of society in social activities, advocacy, and community empowerment.
