INFOKU, BLORA - Kodim 0721 Blora continues to accelerate infrastructure development efforts.
By the first semester of 2026, 16 bridges had been built in several areas in Blora Regency.
This is part of the target of 30 bridges set for this year.
Commander of Kodim 0721, Lieutenant Colonel Kav Yudi Agus Setiyanto told the press that the seven Aramco bridges had been 100% completed.
In addition, of the six concrete bridges, two have been completed.
Meanwhile, of the three suspension bridges, one has been completed and officially opened. Construction on the other is ongoing.
"Bridges not only connect regions, but also open up economic access, streamline the distribution of agricultural products, make it easier for students to get to school, and expedite health services," he said.
In addition to bridge construction, Kodim is also addressing the drought problem by building permanent water sources in areas prone to clean water crises.
Currently, three deep wells and water tanks are being worked on.
Two locations are located in Sukorame Hamlet, Tutup Village, Tunjungan District, and Ngudi Hamlet, Kalangan Village, Tunjungan District. Another location is still under construction.
According to Yudi, the development was carried out based on joint mapping with the Blora Regency Government to ensure it was right on target.

"Distribution of clean water by tanker truck is only a temporary solution. We want the community to have a permanent water source so they no longer have to rely on aid during the dry season," he stressed. (Endah/ IST )
