Combating the Drug Emergency! Blora Officially Operates ULT P4GN

INFOKU, BLORA –A monumental step in the war against narcotics in Blora Regency officially began, Friday (28/8/2026). 

The Integrated Service Unit for the Prevention, Eradication, Abuse and Illicit Trafficking of Narcotics (ULT P4GN) located on Jalan Tentara Pelajar, Kunden Village, Blora District, is now officially operational.

The inauguration was not just a ceremony, but the beginning of the long-awaited formation of the Blora Regency National Narcotics Agency (BNNK).

The inauguration was attended by a number of important officials, including the Head of General Affairs of the Central Java BNNP Wahyu Ratriyani , Head of the Eradication Division of the Central Java BNNP Kombes Pol. Henry Julius Pardomuan, Coordinator of Prevention and Community Empowerment Jamaluddin Ma'ruf, Coordinator of Rehabilitation and Secretary of the ULT P4GN Unit Sardiyanto, as well as elements of the Forkopimda of Blora Regency, heads of regional apparatus, sub-district heads, heads of BUMD and organizations, Head of Kunden Village, religious leaders, and community leaders.

Their presence shows the great attention paid to efforts to eradicate narcotics in Blora.

Head of the Central Java Province BNN, Police Brigadier General Agus Rohmat, in his remarks appreciated the commitment of the Blora Regency Government.

According to him, the signing of the memorandum of understanding between the Republic of Indonesia's National Narcotics Agency (BNN) and the Blora Regency Government and the inauguration of the ULT P4GN is not merely a formality, but rather a form of joint commitment to addressing the serious threat of narcotics abuse and illicit trafficking.

"This cannot be handled by the BNN alone, but requires collaboration from all stakeholders, including local governments, law enforcement officials, the education sector, the business world, the media, and all levels of society," he said firmly.

He hopes that the existence of ULT P4GN can strengthen coordination, program synchronization, data and information exchange, increase human resource capacity, and implement various P4GN programs in an integrated and sustainable manner.

Meanwhile, Deputy Regent of Blora Sri Setyorini said that the inauguration of the ULT P4GN was an important momentum for Blora Regency in strengthening its commitment to protecting the community, especially the younger generation, from the dangers of narcotics.

"The launch of ULT P4GN is not just the inauguration of an office or service unit, but a concrete manifestation of the Blora Regency Government's commitment to supporting efforts to prevent and eradicate drug abuse and illicit trafficking in the Blora Regency area," he said.

He explained that the existence of the ULT P4GN is the embryo and initial step towards the formation of the Blora BNNK, which has long been a shared goal. (Setyorini)
