INFOKU, BLORA – The latest news received, regarding the bullying case at SMPN 1 Blora which was previously reported to the police, has finally been resolved peacefully.
The victim and the alleged perpetrator's family agreed to resolve the matter amicably in a meeting on Saturday (15/8).
One of the points of the agreement was that the alleged perpetrator would be punished by not praying Dhuha for 40 days and cleaning the school bathroom outside of school hours.
"This settlement is based solely on the victim's consent and wishes. There was no pressure from any party," the victim's attorney, Adhi Aprianto, told the press.
According to him, the victim with the initials APW has expressed his desire to make peace.
The victim also wanted to continue going to school and be friends with the alleged perpetrator.
With this agreement, his party will immediately withdraw the report that was previously submitted to the Blora Police.
A letter of withdrawal of the report will also be sent to the school.

This peace is the result of a number of processes that have been gone through.
The alleged perpetrator's family also apologized several times to the victim and his family.
In addition to sanctions against the alleged perpetrator, the victim asked the school to increase supervision in the school environment.
One way is by adding CCTV cameras and surveillance in the bathroom area.
"The additional CCTV installations have been approved. The plan is to have 16 CCTV cameras. Bathroom surveillance will also be strengthened," he said.
According to Adhi, supervision is important because schools cannot possibly monitor all students at all times.
Moreover, the environment of SMPN 1 Blora is quite large and the number of students is large.
In the meeting, the initial triggers of the conflict between students were also discussed.
Adhi said the problem started with a misunderstanding regarding the water in the bathroom which then escalated into mutual accusations and a dispute.
"Initially, there was a misunderstanding about who set the trap using water. From there, a conflict arose between students," he explained.
Adhi hopes that the peace settlement will pave the way for all students involved to return to normal school activities. Furthermore, the students involved are now in ninth grade.
"We hope the school will continue to provide guidance. We must not let this resolved issue disrupt the children's future," he concluded. (Endah/ IST )
